PromisAreTalking uses AI to generate fictional statements from celebrities from the past and present on specific topics. The statements are usually amusing and not to be taken too seriously.

Application program VisualEconomics:

With VisualEconomics, economic processes are illustrated by attractors. The processes themselves are described by ordinary nonlinear differential equation systems (ODEs), in which

dx/dt, dy/dt and dz/dt

can depend.
In the examples in VisualEconomics, the coefficients of the ODE system can be changed using scroll bars, and the shape of the attractor changes. The shape and dynamic behavior of the attractor allow conclusions to be drawn about the stability and properties of the economic process.

Application program SocialPeace:

SOCIAL PEACE deals with a problem from sociology. The problem itself is described by a system of ordinary nonlinear differential equation systems (ODEs) or by discrete-time dynamic systems (MAPs) and visualized by attractors. The system of equations has the following general structure:

x' = a₁y + b₁z + c₁yz
y' = a₂x + b₂z + c₂xz
z' = a₃x + b₃y + c₃xy

The variables x,y,z mean:

Freedom
Prosperity
Contentment

These three sociological categories are interconnected in such a way that each depends on the other two. For social peace it is essential that these categories behave in a reasonable relationship to one another. In the individual parameter sets in SOCIAL PEACE you can change the coefficients of the respective ODE/MAP system using scroll bars. You can now observe how the attractor changes.
In "SocialPeace" the Fluent Design feature "Acrylic" was implemented. "SocialPeace" can be obtained from the Microsoft Store.

Application program PerfectMenu:

In Windows 11, the function "Create new toolbar in the taskbar" has been removed. This means that it is no longer possible to display a new toolbar for a menu that you have created yourself. The Microsoft Store app "PerfectMenu" offers a perfect replacement.




"PerfectMenu" can be obtained from the Microsoft Store.

Application program Attractors:

With "Attractors" it is possible to search for strange attractors that satisfy a generalized differential equations system in which

The necessary 60 coefficients are set via 60 sliders (scroll bars), while the attractor is being displayed (always changed). With this program pictures can be converted into music. The pictures are painted with the mouse.

Principle:
In a coordinate system placed over the image, the abscissa represents the time and the ordinate the pitch and the color the instrument.
The music generated from the image is immediately playable. It usually sounds very contemporary. The image shown here is obtained by clicking on "Examples" and selecting "Pic_1".
Complete "symphonies" can also be generated (click on "Advanced").
Especially interesting is the import: Images (BMPs and JPGs) can be imported, but also music files (MIDIs, WAVs and MP3s).
In GrafiCompo the Fluent Design feature "Acrylic" has been implemented. "GrafiCompo" is available via Microsoft Store.
The user interface can be switched between English and German.

Music program GraphiCompo as Universal Windows App:

This Universal Windows app is a simplified version of the GrafiCompo desktop application, in which the conversion of pictures in music is realized. On the professional features was waived, but the app responds not only to mouse events, but also to touch events.

The user interface can be switched between English and German.

Literature Program Poetik as Universal Windows App:

The Poetry Quiz "Poetik" interprets German poetry from 10 centuries with 2 Lecture voices and music. More than 1100 poems from 10 centuries knows the App "Poetik" by heart. At random, she chooses a few lines from it, these are presented. After that a few bars of music will follow. In this time can be tried to identify the poet. Subsequently, the resolution follows.

The user interface is only in German because the poems are only in German, too.

Music program BelCanto as Universal Windows App:

In the music program "BelCanto" poetry from 10 centuries is interpreted by a vocal quartet with musical accompaniment. More than 1100 poems the app "BelCanto" can memorize.

Literature Program PoetrySlam als Universal Windows App:

In the literature program "PoetrySlam" modern German poetry is generated.
In "PoetrySlam" the Fluent Design feature "Acrylic" was implemented. "PoetrySlam" is available through the Microsoft Store.

The user interface is only in German because the poems are only in German, too.

Music program MusicEvent:

"MusicEvent" includes 4 different ways to demonstrate the relationship between music and its graphical representation::

"Music Becomes Visible"
A music file (.MID, .WAV or .MP3) will be selected and played back to become generated and shown stars, circles, fireworks, mosaics or abstract images, whose appearance depends on the current volume and frequency of the music.

"PI Makes Music"
50,000 decimal places of PI are available in groups of each 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 digits to be interpreted.

"Pictures Make Music"
An image (.BMP, .JPG or .PNG) can be selected. The original state is shown and modified one after another in different ways and finally interpreted as music.

"Sing A Song"
A song can be sung (turn on the microphone), followed by a musical Accompaniment created. Both can be played together, with the volume balance can be fine-tuned between the two.

Program TheFractals:

Mandelbrot Set, Fractal Dragon, Fractal Fern, Force Fields, and Cellular Automata can all be displayed with this program.

One more comment on the Mandelbrot Set, its recursion is

z <= z² + c

The fractal program also provides the generalized mandelbrot Set
